Get Certified in CPR
Many professions such as coaches, lifeguards, personal trainers and teachers all require CPR/BLS certification. BLS CPR Certification proves that you have taken a training course and passed the assessment test.
American BLS offers certification in CPR/AED, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens. Certification is for individuals who have successfully mastered the course material and passed the CPR exam. Although our courses are free, official certification is a 1 time fee of $19.95 and with that you receive a diploma, wallet card signed by an instructor (not a printout), and lifetime access to the website for updates. Certification is valid for 2 years for the CPR/BLS Course and the First Aid Course. The Bloodborne Pathogens Certification is valid for one year.
If, for any reason, your certification card is rejected, we will refund the entire price of the course if you notify us within 30 days of certification as outlined in our refund policy.
Online CPR Certification
Getting certified in CPR by American BLS is a 3 step process. First, take the Free CPR Course. The free course will teach you how to react in a life or death situation and save lives if there is no emergency help available. The next step is to take the exam. The exam consists of 25 multiple questions covering CPR, planning procedures, emergency tactics, and recovery.
Once you have passed the exam, all you need to do is apply for certification. Certification costs $19.95 and you will receive your official certification diploma from American BLS as well as your official wallet card signed by an instructor. Both of these will be mailed within one business day.

BLS CPR Certification is available after completing one of the free courses. You do not have to pay anything to take one of our Free CPR or BLS Classes. Online certification is only for those who need a certification for their job or organization. You can always access the online BLS course material for free.
